The Most Successful Mental Game System in Golf

Based on Tour Level Research Since 1981

14 GolfPsych Tour Clients Have Won 20 Majors So Far!

Do You Play Great in Practice and Qualifying

But Shoot Higher in Competitive Rounds?

Are You Inconsistent?

Then Your Mental Game Is Holding You Back From Your Goals!

Your practice and qualifying rounds show that you have the physical skills to play golf well.

Your Swing and Short Game Are Not The Problem!

Jon Stabler CEO GolfPsychHi, I'm Jon Stabler, CEO and Co-Founder with Dr. Deborah Graham of GolfPsych.

After over 25 years of Tour level research, work with over 360 Tour Pros and hundreds of competitive Junior Golfers, College Golfers and other professionals, these conclusions are undeniable:

If Your Play Is Inconsistent and You Play Poorly in Competition, Then Your Mental Game is The Problem!

With GolfPsych You Can Turn This Around!

The Proof- Our clients have won every major on the PGA and Champions Tours and most of the Majors on the LPGA Tour. GolfPsych trained clients have won the NCAA Div. 1 National Championship, the NAIA National Championship, The US Amateur and the US Publinx. They have won The Texas State High School Championship multiple times. And many more.

You cannot win these Major Championships and other top tournaments playing poorly and inconsistently.

With a Strong Mental Game you will be more consistent and perform to your ability. You will progress faster and are much more likely to achieve your goals in golf.

GolfPsych will help you build a strong mental game quickly.

Here's How We Do It.

First Assess Your Mental Strengths and Challenges and Develop Your Plan.

A. How good are your mental skills? You will take a 15 minute online Mental Skills Assessment to measure how good you are at focussing, managing emotions, making decisions, following your game plan, managing arousal, maintaining confidence and dealing with adversity and the competition in golf.

I have lost count of the number of clients who say they had lots of success at other sports but struggle with golf. The Mental Game that works for golf is different from what works for other sports, a lot different and more difficult to learn. This assessment will help you understand the differences.

B. Is Your Personality Helping or Hurting Your Performance? You will take an online Personality Assessment that takes 30 minutes and objectively compares your personality to our Champion Model. It will show where the natural strengths and challenges are in your personality.

Through our research on the best players in the world, we know that there are 8 Personality Traits that the frequent winners have in common. Through our work, we have shown that you can learn to emulate those traits when you play golf and that this will lead to your best play.

Without this objective, detailed assessment, it is unlikely that you know how you compare to the Champions and which of your personality traits are your challenges for golf. This means that you can easily be working on symptoms rather than the most important Champion Traits for you.

For example, you may experience a lot of anxiety on the first tee. What is the source of this anxiety? What personality traits are contributing to this? Why can't you just relax?

Is your personality higher on the Arousal scale than the Champions which has created swing problems and a history of poor first tee shots?

Are you overly concerned with the outcome of the shot because you are naturally more Apprehensive than the Champions? Are you worried about what others think about your performance because you are more Apprehensive than the Champions?

Are you higher on the Abstract Thinking scale than the Champions which means a busy mind and over analyzing the shot and the situation so you end up un-committed when you try to play the shot?

And so on....

The online Personality Assessment will clear away the fog and make the path to improvement much more certain.

Both assessments are required and generate our recommendations with methods to help you strengthen your mental skills and learn to think like the Champions when you play.

Everyone is different. We want to identify the most important things for you to work on first.

C. Then you can talk with a Certified GolfPsych Instructor to review these results and discuss your recent performances. They will help you develop a plan to address the most important things first and set mental goals for your next competition.

Second Work to Develop Your Mental Foundation Skills.

A. You need An Effective Mental Pre-shot Routine. This routine will be unique to you and will result in your performing more athletically with better focus and greater consistency. It will not slow you down and it will simplify and quiet your mind.

B. You need to Learn to Control Your Thoughts. Un-controlled, your thoughts will tend to raise arousal, widen focus and distract. They will tend to focus on outcome and score. They will have you reacting emotionally to poor outcomes and scores. They will create fear and anxiety. You cannot just stop thinking those damaging thoughts.

C. You need to become aware of and Control Your Level of Arousal for golf. When your arousal is too high for golf, your swing will change, your putting and short game will struggle and your focus will open. It will become harder to make good decisions. You will react more emotionally than you normally do. If you are naturally above average dominant then you will become too aggressive. If you are naturally more submissive than the average, you will tend to become very defensive in competition.

Certified GolfPsych Instructors have proprietary tools, like the Mind Meter and patented Zone Training Software, and GolfPsych methods to help you develop these foundations skills faster.

Third, You Need to Compete-

You Will Develop Your foundation skills and your mental game through competition and using our Online Coaching System and other tools with coaching from us or one of our GolfPsych Instructors.

It is easy to learn these concepts but harder to do them with the pressure of competition and expectations. The Online Coaching System will help you prepare for your rounds and then learn from them afterwards.

This is a learning process. You will see progress immediately but you will really develop over time with competition experience. When you stumble, you will learn from it and progress again.

The end result will be your own personal custom mental game that enables you to perform your best in competition.

It will enable you to:

  • Be very consistent from shot to shot and round to round.

  • Get the most out of your game every day

  • Progress faster in developing your physical skills.

Begin Here-

You need to get the GolfPsych Mental Game Builder Package which includes the Mental Skills Assessment, the Personality Assessment, both reports and one year of the Online Coaching System.

This will provide Immediate Recommendations- from your investment of 45 minutes to complete the online assessments. The reports and recommendations will arrive shortly after completing the assessments. You can begin working on the recommendations and methods right away, Right NOW!

If you want coaching to speed up the process, you can choose a GolfPsych Instructor for one on one coaching or attend one of our intensive weekend GolfPsych Mental Game Builder Schools.

The one on one coaching is simply billed at the Instructor's hourly rate. Take as much or as little as you want.

Unlike swing instruction, we do not have to see you in person to work with you effectively. We do not have to work with you during daylight hours either. Today we use telephone, Skype, text messaging and email to communicate. In addition, every time you use the Online Coaching System we get a ping and can look at your input.

We have clients in China, Australia and India that we have never met and they are doing very well!

The weekend Mental Game Builder Schools are limited to four students and include 15 hours of instruction in the classroom and on the course. 2 hours on the range and 4 hours on the course! You will use these skills with our coaching. A great value and the fastest way to improve your mental game.

The school format lets us see you performing in a more competitive situation. Some of our clients start one on one and then attend the group school later.

The schools are scheduled every month at our headquarters near San Antonio. The schedule is on the Schools Page. These schools are for competitive golfers, Juniors to Pros. We usually have a mix of ages from 14 and up.

Here is One Example of how this has worked.

Jhonattan Vegas attended our school in 2007 while an amateur and student at the University of Texas. Before that school and since he has worked with Kevin Kirk, Advanced GolfPsych Instructor and PGA teaching pro in Houston. Jhonattan turned Pro in 2008. Less than 4 years after the school, in 2011, he won his first tournament on the PGA Tour and finished 46th on the money list with $1,854,414.

We cannot promise you will be as successful as Jhonattan.

But he is not unusual for us. Cameron Beckman worked with us from college through winning on Tour. Gary McCord and Bart Bryant had not won on Tour until they worked with us. 14 of our Tour clients have won 20 Majors so far. Yani Tseng got our Mental Game Builder Package in 2009 and is going gangbusters!

Many Juniors have worked with us and gone on to play Division I College Golf.

11 players from the Austin Westlake High School boys team attended our weekend schools and went on to win two Texas High School State Championships in a row!

Most of our clients come from word of mouth referrals.

If you are struggling with your golf and frustrated with your performances....

If you have high goals for your golf...

If you play for a High School or College Team, or want to...

If you are trying to make it as a Pro...

YOU NEED GOLFPSYCH!!

Most of our clients call us the first time because they have worked really hard on their games and are struggling to perform. Many are swinging better than ever but still not scoring.

A few call the first time because they know how important the mental game is, like Jhonattan, and want to achieve really high goals with their golf even though they are playing pretty good at the moment.

Whichever you are, please call. Don't waste another minute trying to play this great game without a strong mental game for golf.

We can help you develop yours, find more consistency and play your best in competition quickly.

No-one will know you are using these methods. All they will know is that you are playing a lot better, a lot!

Your Guarantee: We stand fully behind our products and system, there is No Risk for you!

Please call with any questions.

P.S. You should be aware that many of our clients have gotten Additional Benefits from their work with us. We have found that after you learn the techniques of managing your thoughts, emotions and level of arousal, that you will use them everywhere. In school they help with test anxiety and doing presentations. Our older clients use them to work better and deal with stresses. Our Tour clients find more balance in their lives. They will help you be a happier, healthier, more productive human being.

P.P.S The most important mental skill is an effective Mental Pre-Shot Routine.

Just fill out this form and we will give you access to our Recommended Mental Routine Video and 7 Routine Development email articles for FREE with all of the principles of a good mental routine and add you to our newsletter list.

Please understand that this is just one part of a good mental game. Do not try to simply add it to your current physical pre-shot routine. It should be the only thing you are thinking about when playing any shot.

The routine on the video is the one Steve Veriato developed for his game with our coaching. Your routine must meet the same principles but can be quite different. That is why I will send you 7 email articles to help you develop yours after you watch the video.

Contact us or any Certified GolfPsych Instructor to help you develop your routine and make it very effective.

I guarantee that we will never share your information. We hate Spam as much as you do.

"In 1993, my second year on the Senior PGA Tour, I won five tournaments and $1,175,944, was leading money-winner and was named Player of the Year...the main reason I had a year that for me was unbelievable is that I worked hard on the mental side of my game (with GolfPsych)."-Dave Stockton

Bob McKinney

Bob McKinney of Erie, KS, 55, successful auto dealer, won once and placed in the top ten several times in Kansas and Kansas City senior events...

from email in 2008..."The game of golf has truley turned into a game of enjoyment for me since attending your class . The fun now comes from seeing how well I can maintain a steady relaxed mental state and still be fun to be around for my playing partners during a casual round and then keep that same attitude in competition. I have always known I was a mental case and now I work on what I'm concerned with most the mental game and I think just as much as I use to but know its about the right stuff. Thanks your friend Bob McKinney"

email update December 2009..."just wanted to let you know it took longer than I hoped but I have finally got a good handle on the mental part of my life and not just for golf but more for every day life in general and that in its self bleeds over into golf. you cant imagine how many times i thought now what would my meter be reading know and it would have been high so i keep learning and changing and I know find myself much more at ease with life and a much better golfer. My handicap is now 2.4 and I'm playing the best golf of my life but more important than that Im a much better person and have a lot more fun every day no matter what i'm doing. I guess what I finally learned was what was really important in life and that golf really is a game to be played that can never be won and a man is not measured by his golf score but how he lives his life . Keep up the good work and have a very Merry holiday season."

David Kopf of Beaverton Oregon

David Kopf of Beaverton, OR, 55, a 9 handicap shot career best 79 in club tournament...

from his email May 19, 2009 "...I've never shot this well in a tournament. I think my tournament best was an 82, with the same handicap. I was hitting the ball straighter and longer than I ever have. I only missed 4 fairways... ...Jon, this performance would not have been possible in my previous states of mind (as you know). I look forward to driving these skills in deeper and learning to execute them amidst greater and greater pressure. It was very satisfying to shoot a good score, BUT I'M FAR MORE EXCITED ABOUT CONTROLLING MY MIND. It will be the Ninja skill that others won't see..."
