College Golfers

Congratulations College Golfers!

Whether you are playing golf for a Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA school, or for a Community College, you have placed yourself in an elite group. And you have provided yourself a wonderful opportunity to build your golf skills, further your education, meet lots of great people, and learn tons about yourself by playing competitive golf at the college level.

If your goals are simply to get the most out of your college experience, or to help prepare yourself for a career in golf, this section of GolfPsych.com is for you. Here you will find tips for playing your best in qualifiers, managing your busy schedule, finding out where and why you are losing strokes, how to handle the pressure of playing at a higher level, tips on managing nutrition, hydration and sleep even when cramming for those big exams. All of the topics we address for you have come directly from college golfers just like you.

We hope you will visit when you need some friendly advice that has proven effective for the many golfers ahead of you (many of whom are now competing on tour). We will be continually adding articles to help address your challenges; we will add links to sites we find especially helpful to the college competitor; and ultimately we hope to post a blog where you can ask your own anonymous questions and get help from fellow college golfers and coaches who have good advice to share.

Whatever your goals are for your college experience, let's make the most of this great opportunity. Let's learn as much as you can & play your best --most of all, let's have fun doing it!
