“I shot 78, 72, 78; finished top 30 and felt confident playing the final round with one of the best golfers locally and in the state.

Anyway,  without GolfPsych’s help, I wouldn’t have even entered that tournament. Without your help, I wouldn’t have had the ability to have accomplished a dream.”

Scott Benson

Our golf schools consist of range, course, and classroom mental training.

During 15 hours of instruction, you will work on the range and the course for over 6 hours. You will wear the Mind Meter Pro on the range and course. With it we can video every shot and putt and record your Mind Meter numbers through the whole routine. This immediate feedback after every shot and putt is incredibly valuable to your understanding and improvement. The course time is broken into two 2 hour sessions with review and discussion afterward and using the Online Coaching System.

During Our Golf Schools You Will Learn About:

  • The Eight Champion Personality Traits and How You Compare with Recommendations
  • Effective Goal Setting
  • The Mental Pre-Shot Routine (The Athletic Shot Process)
  • Thought Control Methods
  • Managing Your Tension for Golf with the Mind Meter Pro
  • Trouble Shooting Your Game Mentally and Physically
  • How to Practice
  • How to Prepare for Your Rounds including Mental Goals and Mental Game Scorecards
  • How to Play Your Rounds Mentally
  • Effective Game Planning and Decision Making on the Course
  • How to Handle Bad Shots or Outcomes
  • How to Learn from Your Rounds and Improve Mentally with the Online Coaching System
  • Hydration and Nutrition for Performance
At its conclusion, you will have a much better mental game! You will be a better player on Sunday than you were on Friday night. You will understand your personal challenges and what to do about them. You will have a roadmap for improving your skills and what to do next. You will have the tools to continue your mental game improvement. It is not unusual for our students to play a competitive round on Monday and do well!

It doesn’t end with the school. The school is just the beginning. With this knowledge and the tools included you will continue the process of building your Mental Game stronger and stronger. The Online Coaching System gives you the tools to prepare for every competitive round mentally and then to learn from your competitive rounds afterward.

If you need additional coaching, we are always available to you now that you have become a GolfPsych client.

Upcoming Mental Game Golf School Schedule

From the Dad of a recent graduate about her play the second day after the Level I School

Jon and Deborah:

You guys may have already seen it on her post round evaluation, but S…. threw down a 72 on Tuesday in a TJGT major at Augusta Pines.  That was her first time to break 80 in competition in over a year.  She not only broke 80, but destroyed that mark.  There is no question that what she learned from both of you was a BIG part of it.  She’s always had the physical ability, but her mind has been in her way.  She “got out of her own way” finally and performed to her potential.  It was fun to watch because I know how hard she has worked at it this year and how close she came to quitting golf altogether.  Anyway, thanks for everything and we will be talking soon.  She is in San Antonio again Mon-Wed of next week.  Let’s hope she can keep the momentum going.

Her Dad

p.s.  Jon, S…. said she was very nervous the last 5 holes because she know she was level par.  She said the breathing techniques really help her nerves.  She made some big putts on the last few holes in that dreaded 3-5 foot range.  So, she was clearly able to calm herself.  It was neat to watch.
